Public Programs Coordinator
Part time: $20/hour (in person)

The Bronx Documentary Center,  a non-profit gallery, educational center, and cultural hub in the South Bronx, presents7 exhibitions a year, featuring renowned and emerging artists in photography, film, and multimedia storytelling whose work fosters dialogue around contemporary local, national, and global issues. To amplify and contextualize our exhibitions, we offer over 30 public programs annually.  

We are looking for an experienced Public Programs Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day functions of those events.

The Coordinator will be responsible for organizing and implementing panels, book talks, film screenings, and other programs. As an important team member, the Coordinator will help deepen visitor engagement, increase attendance, encourage community voices, and support the mission of the BDC as a vital art and education space.
