The exhibition is curated by Leaders from South Bronx Churches and Manhattan Together

For over twenty years, leaders from Manhattan Together and South Bronx Churches, organized under the Metro Industrial Areas Foundation, have been fighting to secure better living conditions for residents of New York City Public Housing.

Speak Out shares the stories of NYCHA tenants fighting to live and breathe better in the places they call home.

Exhibitions at the Bronx Documentary Center are made possible by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
