Maine Workshop

The Workshop —

An intensive week-long documentary photography workshop held each August in Rockland, Maine.

Students are paired with local artisans, activists, and community groups to create photo essays over the course of the week. Evenings include shared dinners, instruction, and group critiques, with time set aside to explore nearby islands, beaches, and national parks.

2025 —

The work created by participants reflects intimate stories of small-town life captured through photo essays that highlight local people, places, and community traditions.
