Join the Bronx Documentary Center (BDC) in partnership with the legendary Nuyorican Poets Café for a special Open Mic Night as part of the 8th Annual Latin American Foto Festival. Share your voice, celebrate poetry, and connect with the community.

About the Nuyorican Poets Café:
For over 50 years, the Nuyorican Poets Café (@nuyoricanpoetscafe) has been a cultural hub for groundbreaking works of poetry, music, theater, and visual arts. This multicultural institution amplifies the voices of rising poets, actors, filmmakers, and musicians.


About the BDC’s Latin American Foto Festival (LAFF):
The Bronx Documentary Center’s 7th Annual Latin American Foto Festival (LAFF) runs from July 10–20 (The Bronx) and July 24-Aug 2 (Citywide), showcasing large-scale photographs by emerging and award-winning photographers in the South Bronx’s Melrose neighborhood. This year, the festival expands to five new locations across Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
