Bronx Documentary Center is proud to announce our involvement with the City Artist Corps Grants program, which has begun distributing one-time $5,000 grants to artists engaging the public with arts activities across our city. The program’s broken down into three cycles; read on to learn more about deadlines and where to apply.

 

Important Dates:
 

Cycle Two:

Cycle 2 opened Tuesday, July 6 

Cycle 2 closes Tuesday, July 20 at 10:00 AM EDT

Cycle 3:

Cycle 3 will open Tuesday, July 27 at 10:00 AM EDT 

Cycle 3 will close Tuesday, August 10 at 10:00 AM EDT

These info sessions will include a brief overview of the City Artist Corps Grants program, specific information for photographers & filmmakers who seek to apply for the grant, and a live Q&A.

Funded by the $25 million New York City Artist Corps recovery initiative announced by Mayor de Blasio and DCLA earlier this year, the program is a partnership with New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA), with support from the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME), as well as Queens Theatre (QT) on the City Artist Corps Grants program.
