Thursdays: 6 Classes—September 7, 14, 21, 28, October 5, 12, 2023, 6-7:30PM

Learn the basics of digital photography and start taking photos that reflect your interests and your vision. In this 6-session course, you'll learn about all the technical aspects of your camera, and how to use composition and other photographic elements to craft stronger images. You'll also learn how to organize and edit your images using photo editing software.

All participants must have a DSLR camera and a computer.

Instructor: 
Salvador Espinoza is a documentary photographer and photojournalist. His work has been published in The New York Times, BBC News, Rolling Stone, and NPR and he has won awards from the Queens Council on the Arts and the New York City Council. He is currently a Teaching Artist at the Bronx Documentary Center and Managing Director of Back to the Lab.
